Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 1.12%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Retail, Building & Construction and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.12% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL:8150), which rose 8.09% or 0.73 points to trade at 9.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:4110) added 2.31% or 0.05 points to end at 2.21 and Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) was up 1.48% or 0.58 points to 39.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:4050), which fell 5.62% or 3.75 points to trade at 63.00 at the close. Almajed 4 Oud Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4165) declined 5.29% or 7.60 points to end at 136.00 and Saudi Darb Investment Co (TADAWUL:4130) was down 5.00% or 0.13 points to 2.47.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 281 to 49 and 20 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi Darb Investment Co (TADAWUL:4130) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.00% or 0.13 to 2.47.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.39% or 1.40 to $59.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.19% or 1.38 to hit $64.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.39% or 100.30 to trade at $4,094.20 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.10% to 4.36, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 99.20.
